What is involved in designing a web site? The process for designing an entire web site is actually very demanding on our end. The key is spending the necessary time on the front end so that the actual design phase goes smoothly and without delays. Initially, we will discuss what the main purpose of your site is, what is your target market, layout ideas, what type of site you want: basic, dynamic, e-commerce, etc. Once this is established, we will proceed to the designing phase to implement everything that was planned out. This makes for an efficient and effortless process for everybody. z7 web takes the initiative to make sure the project goes as planned.
How long will it take to design a fully functional web site? This really depends on what type of site you want designed. There are a lot of variables involved in designing a web site that is professional, easy to use and viewable to everyone. Not only does z7 web focus on quality design work, efficiency is a main priority as well. One thing that speeds up the process immensley is for the customer to know exactly what content they want in the website (all of the text, what images you like, etc.) Remember, we are designing your site but nobody knows your business better than you do so we depend on you to provide us with the actual content for your site. If you do need help with that portion, z7 web will be glad to assist. If you need a site up and running ASAP such as a "rush job", we will gladly accommodate. There will be a rush fee involved because it will take time away from our current design jobs. The fee will be determined on what kind of web site you need designed and how soon you need it published on the web.
Does z7 web design web sites that are cross browser compatible? Yes. It is imperative to have a web site that everyone can see. It does no good to have a site that is only viewable with Internet Explorer or Netscape because you can loose potential customers. If a prospect cannot view your page, more than likely they will not come back again. This will not be an issue with z7 Web.
What is a light weight web site? A light weight web site is a site that can be downloaded within 30 seconds or less on a dial up modem. Actually, we try to get our pages to download within 10 seconds or less. It does depend on the content of each page, but we put a lot of thought and preplanning into our page layout and design so that each page downloads as quickly as possible.

What is z7 web's payment process? z7 Web requires a 50% deposit on the majority of our design services. Once we have received the deposit on the agreed price, we will begin designing your web site. After the web site has been designed and signed off by the customer, z7 Web will invoice the remaining balance. We are easy to work with and very accomadating. In certain situations, we can work out a payment plan over 60 days especially on a larger scale project. Each project is on a case by case basis.
